Por isso eu digo que na vida
Tudo é bom de viver
Não fique à tôa
Dê um jeito maneiro
De abraçar a cidade maravilhosa
Suba na colina toda cheia de flor
Maracanã, corcovado
E a galera do pepino vai de asa
Até o arpoador
Por isso eu digo que hoje
Eu vou, brincar até fevereiro
Vou balançar a cidade
E mostrar que eu sou brasileiro
Eu vou brincar no rio
Eu vou brincar no rio
De bondinho elétrico
E vou mostrar pra você
Deixe que digam
Que pensem, que falem
Deixe isso pra lá
E vem brincar no bondinho.
