With their own hearts yearning to see the kingdom of God established on Earth as it is in heaven, the band desires to impact the body of Christ through bringing the reality of the Father's presence, life, and love to every gathering, while promoting a genuine relationship with God in the midst of their worship—and they have done just that.
Everywhere they go, they experience greater depths of joy, and a release of the prophetic in the local church. They hear testimonies of miracles and healing taking place in their worship services and authentic life changes coming as a result of God’s presence. Their desire to meet with Him has resulted in genuine worship, changing not only their lives but the lives of those who experience God through their music.
Performing first on the familiar stage of their home church, City Church of Tampa Bay, and sister venue, The Porch, the band soon began receiving interest in leading regional worship events. They have been called on for worship services, camps, events and conferences for youth, college and adult audiences and completed two national tours off their debut album, Ben Davis EP.
With many tours to come and their first full length worship album to be released June 21st on new label Come&Live! the coming year has many blessings in sight for the band.
Sing
Ascend The Hill Lyrics

We understand, we know the truth, You made us Yours, we're Yours alone
So we enter in Your gates with thanksgiving
For You are good and Your mercy will defend
Your loving kindness lasts, it knows no end
And I sing, I sing, I sing of your faithfulness, I sing of your truth again
We make a joyful noise to You, to You oh Lord our praise is due
And with this song we bring You now, our heart's desire to sing it loud
Into Your gates with thanksgiving
Into Your courts we're singing praise
The lyrics of Ascend The Hill's song Sing talk about submitting one's self to the Lord and recognizing Him as the only true God. The first line, "This we know, the Lord is God and we are Yours, we are your own," is an acknowledgement that as God's creation, we belong to Him. The following line, "We understand, we know the truth, You made us Yours, we're Yours alone," speaks to the idea that knowing the truth of God's sovereignty over us is a form of understanding.
The lyrics then shift into a declaration of thanksgiving towards God, with lines such as "So we enter in Your gates with thanksgiving," and "Your loving kindness lasts, it knows no end." The joyful noise that is made to the Lord is not just a form of worship, but a recognition that all praise and glory is due to Him.
Overall, the song Sing speaks of submission and gratitude towards God, recognizing Him as the one true God and acknowledging His infinite love and mercy towards His creation.
