The lyrics of the song 'Din Taise Rajani' by Asha Bhosle are in Marathi and convey the feeling of separation and the pain of being away from loved ones. The song talks about how the day has become dark and lonely, and how the separation is causing immense sorrow to the heart. The line "पडिलें दूरदेसी मज आठवे मानसी" (Padilen doordesi maj athave manasi) means that being away from the loved ones has caused immense pain and longing. The lyrics also convey the hopelessness felt in such a situation where the condition has worsened, and even the solution that seemed possible earlier has now disappeared. The closing lines of the song reference various deities, including Garuda, Rakhumadevi, and Vithoba, reflecting how people often turn to gods in times of difficulty and separation.
Overall, the song is about the universal feeling of separation, which can be felt by anyone regardless of language, region or culture. It highlights the pain and the desperation that people experience when they are away from their loved ones and how they find solace in their faith.
