What a song this is! It's raining tears in my eyes. How can a person create such a divine masterpiece? This song can never be so magical without the heavenly enchanting vocals of dearest Asha Bhosle and godly music of divine Pancham Da! Gulzar's ultra-supreme direction, storyline and class apart presence of elite actors like Rekha and Nasseruddin Shah takes the story to unimaginable heights of sweetness and heart-touching plight of characters. Not to forget - Anuradha Patel has showcased her performance equally well which adds to the impact of story.
Gulzar, Asha Bhosle and RD Burman are the divine gems which are unforgettable and come only once in several lifetimes. We must all be so thankful and fortunate to have witnessed and experienced these gems in our lives. All I'll say is - I love this song and my dearest gems Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, RD Burman and Gulzar so much that I'm ready to die any number of times to experience their souls.
How the hell can anyone dislike such a once-in-a-lifetime Asha Bhosle's songs???
