In 2005, she released her debut album titled Lemon Love. The name Lemon Love is due to the fact that every car she has owned turned out to break down, or in other words, turned out to be a "lemon"; she spent more on repairing them than they were actually worth. The album Lemon Love reached number #36 on the Top Heatseeker charts and it's single Be the Girl reached #26.
In January 2008, Aslyn released an EP entitled The Grand Garden EP. The EP features 28 songs, most of which were recorded between Lemon Love and Wherever the Dandelion Falls. It is divided up into 4 parts, each one having 7 different songs.
In January 2009, Aslyn's second full length album, The Dandelion Sessions was released under Lemonade Records. The 13 song collection includes some old fan favorites that have been played at live concerts for a couple of years now, such as "Your Best Thing", "The Way It Goes", and "Making Her Right". Another fan favorite recorded with Zac Brown, "Trying to Drive" was also included on the album. She is now managed by J.Romo Music Management.

When the table's been set
When you've outplaced your bet
When you cannot forget
When you fall fast asleep
And when you're staring at me
When the switch can't be found
You just wait to come back around
Help me out, help me out of my head
Cause I've been staying around this bed and that ain't me
I can't break it down, my faith is all that's left
But faith don't feel that much when you're sleeping so far in
In and out, in and out of my head
You've crossed the line and now you're scared
All that's good's gone south of fair
Still, you stay in that tree house
Your pride would dare not come down
And all your friends say, "Be smart."
But your heart's feeling dumb
Cuase your story's sticking out
Like a beat-up, sore thumb
Help me out, help me out of my head
Cause I've been staying around this bed and that ain't me
I can't break it down, my faith is all that's left
But faith don't feel that much when you're sleeping so far in
In and out, in and out
When you can't feel the sun
Cause you feel old and more undone
And all your dreams say you're stuck
And well, you dream them way too much
How a joke'll leave so fast
When a smile is out of gas
What you'd give to turn around
To get one foot out, out of this town
Help me out, help me out of my head
Cause I've been staying around this bed and that ain't me
I can't break it down, my faith is all that's left
But faith don't feel that much when you're sleeping so far in
Help me out, help me out of my head
Cause I've been staying around this bed and that ain't me
I can't break it down, my faith is all that's left
But faith don't feel that much when you're sleeping so far in
In and out, in and out
In and out of my head
The opening lines of Aslyn's song "In & Out" sets the tone of the song with a clear sense of confusion and desperation. The lyrics talk about being stuck in a loop or a cycle unsure of how to break free. The song talks about feeling stuck in a situation where everything seems to be going wrong, and no matter what attempt is made to fix it, things only seem to get worse. Aslyn talks about the feeling of being lost and struggling to find a way back to oneself despite having faith in oneself. The lyrics "In and out, in and out of my head" repeatedly suggest the endless cycle that one goes through without any hope of getting out of that pattern.
The lyrics also touch upon the issue of pride and how it can keep one from making the right choices despite knowing that it may not be the best decision. The song talks about how one's story can stick out like a sore thumb, bringing to light the fact that one's decisions will always have consequences regardless of whether they are right or wrong. The lyrics also touch upon the idea of dreaming and wanting to achieve something but feeling trapped with no way out. It talks about the desire to leave the town or situation behind but struggling to do so.
