In 2005, she released her debut album titled Lemon Love. The name Lemon Love is due to the fact that every car she has owned turned out to break down, or in other words, turned out to be a "lemon"; she spent more on repairing them than they were actually worth. The album Lemon Love reached number #36 on the Top Heatseeker charts and it's single Be the Girl reached #26.
In January 2008, Aslyn released an EP entitled The Grand Garden EP. The EP features 28 songs, most of which were recorded between Lemon Love and Wherever the Dandelion Falls. It is divided up into 4 parts, each one having 7 different songs.
In January 2009, Aslyn's second full length album, The Dandelion Sessions was released under Lemonade Records. The 13 song collection includes some old fan favorites that have been played at live concerts for a couple of years now, such as "Your Best Thing", "The Way It Goes", and "Making Her Right". Another fan favorite recorded with Zac Brown, "Trying to Drive" was also included on the album. She is now managed by J.Romo Music Management.

And I know that there were days you settled in
But even in the grit, you'd find a way to dream
To look outside the changing of the wind
Pictures faded slowly out of focus
When you said you were moving to Chicago in the spring
Windows closed up and colors turned to black and white
And bottles kept me hanging by a string
You believed that somewhere there were answers
Inside of me, still frames in my mind
And hummingbirds, they're singing all these songs about you, Nadine
And sunny fireflies, they burn away without you, Nadine
Every day's a forest of asperity
When you think about the life you could have found
I hope one day the sun will find it's way to me
Cause the carousel up there sure beats the ground
You believed that somewhere there were answers
Inside of me, forever in my mind
And hummingbirds, they're singing all these songs about you, Nadine
And sunny fireflies, they burn away without you, Nadine
Nadine
Hummingbirds, they're singing all these songs about you, Nadine
Sunny fireflies, they burn away without you, Nadine
Hummingbirds, they're singing all these songs about you, Nadine
And sunny fireflies, they burn away without you, Nadine

Aslyn's song "Nadine" is a tribute to a person, presumably named Nadine, who is bigger than "those flower pots" and has a remarkable strength to dream and look beyond difficult circumstances. The lyrics suggest that Nadine moved away to Chicago, leaving memories and pictures behind, and the singer is left to cope with the emptiness and loneliness of life without her. The hummingbirds and fireflies serve as symbols of Nadine's beauty and light, which continue to shine even in her absence. The chorus repeats the phrase "hummingbirds, they're singing all these songs about you, Nadine" emphasizing the enduring nature of Nadine's influence and presence.
The song's repeated references to nature and seasons add to its melancholic yet hopeful tone. The changing winds, fading pictures, and closed windows imply both loss and renewal. The line "every day's a forest of asperity" is a poignant metaphor for the difficulties of life, and how they can obscure one's vision and dreams. However, the singer expresses a desire for the sun to find its way back to them, suggesting a belief in a brighter future.
Overall, "Nadine" is a powerful and heartfelt song that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit in the face of loss and hardship. It is a reminder that even when someone is physically absent, their spirit and impact can continue to be felt.
