My best friend of almost 50yrs has been admitted to the hospital for lung cancer. I started a prayer chain on my FB page and I added this song by the one true Maestro. May it give him strength every time someone on the prayer chain hears it. A beautiful song.

I simply love him and what he can do with the violin. The violin would be nothing and simply only an object without its puppet master. He makes it come alive, he transcends the instrument. No one can match this I agree.

God wanted me to see him, because the next day he gave another concert, and one of his musicians (Ruud) had a massive heart attack and died. It was a great shock for everyone. Andre had to cancel all concerts then, in UK. He will back in UK this March. By the way, are you maltese?

In Finland we are familiar with this because of our national singer Kari Tapio. He translated this to Finnish as "Kuin taivaisiin". If you have time and interest, I suggest that you listen the song, Kari had an amazing voice!
