Lennaert and Astrid kept on working together for a long time, with Lennaert providing lyrics for many songs on many of Astrids albums.
Since 1980 Astrid has been performing songs with her own lyrics, in her very own, unique way. After productions with other well known Dutch artists, she has stayed out of the recording business for some years. Today she is back in town, sounding like never before!
Though only singles were released in the 70s she stayed active until the present day.

Astrid Nijgh heeft dit lied voor het eerst opgenomen op de lp "In het teken van de ran" in 1976. Naderhand is het lied terecht gekomen de verzamel-cd "Ik doe wat ik doe" en ook op de laatste CD van haar "Tegen het lijf" uit 2007 staat het lied.

Wow, ik heb nooit geweten dat Astrid Nijgh dit nummer ook zelf gezongen had. De versie van Rob de Nijs is altijd een van mijn favoriete songs van hem geweest, maar deze slaat nog beter op mijzelf, dan dat zijn versie doet. Weet u toevallig of het ooit op lp/cd is uitgebracht?
