1. Asuka is one of the most underrated japanese r'n'b artists. Signed to avextrax record label, she released two albums that achieved moderate success.
Her first single, BRAND NEW ARIA!!! was released 20.08.2003, forshadowing the release of Asuka's debut album, SHINING (released 18.09.2003). The album was followed by 3 singles (7days, released 14.04.2004, me & my girlfriend, released 07.07.2004 and finally LOVE again/NEVER SURRENDER～信じる力～, released 02.02.2005).
Month later, her sophomore album entitled "Initial A" was released but didn't cause commotion and Asuka was dropped.
At the end of the same year, she managed to change label and return to music business as ARIA. Under this name, she released one album "ARIA" and 3 singles (Beautiful Life, Is This Love? and Slow Jam). She also won MTV Advance Warning in February 2006.
In 2007, she released her fourth single Fallin'.
2. So far Danecdote has released one album, Doom Flowers, as Asuka. It was released in the year 2010 on Sociopath Recordings, a wordlwide electronica netlabel.
