In April 2014, At The Skylines announced that they are back together and working on new album. In early 2016 they released a single called Wake exclusively on iTunes, they also released a music video for the song in July of 2016. Since then it's been quiet from the band, but in early 2019 they did a full packed concert at Chain Reaction in Los Angeles, California. Video from the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWnOoMQhgsc
Their live show boasts two incredibly talented front men that completely cover the brutality of metal while still bringing forth the catchiness of near pop status choruses in a way that can still be presented tastefully and admirably. Energetic would be a lackluster way of describing their live performance, which is driven by non-stop interaction between band and crowd. No one on stage is standing still, and neither is the crowd. The music captures great melody, yet is technically sound enough to achieve respect and loyalty from fans across multiple genres.

So erase all the truth and take me back to Ms. Leading.
Bravo, you had me at hello.
The only way to explain yourself,
Is you’re a saint among men in the eyes of a tyrant.
Was I a part of you? Were you a part of me?
Time and time again we’re running on empty.
I’m off this broken ride, I can see clearly.
Whoa, you lied from the start.
The sky could fall down, and you could never see it coming.
Whoa, take me back to the start.
So I can turn around, and walk the other way.
You severed all the faith in me,
When all I needed was loyalty.
Over and over again you lied to me.
I don’t need your loyalty.
Nobody knows what it means to be
A part of this and now is not the time to start asking.
Girl you don’t want to know
What happens when the lights go low and you lose your soul.
Was I a part of you? Were you a part of me?
Time and time again we’re running on empty.
Was I a part of you? Were you a part of me?
I’m off this broken ride, I can see clearly.
Whoa, you lied from the start.
The sky could fall down, and you could never see it coming.
Whoa, take me back to the start.
So I can turn around, and walk the other way.
You severed all the faith in me,
When all I needed was loyalty.
Over and over again you lied to me.
Here’s to heart. As I disengage from this counter part.
I’ll leave you with this token of my regret.
Whoa, you lied from the start.
The sky could fall down, and you could never see it coming.
Whoa, take me back to the start.
So I can turn around, and walk the other way.
The song "Turbulence" by At The Skylines is about a broken relationship and the feelings of disappointment and betrayal that come with it. The singer reflects on how they thought they knew and understood the other person, but now realizes that they were deceived all along. The phrase "Tried and true was my image of you, so erase all the truth" suggests that the singer had a preconceived notion of who the other person was, but they've since learned that this image was false. The line "you're a saint among men in the eyes of a tyrant" implies that the other person may have been kind and loving in public, but in private, they were controlling and deceptive.
Throughout the song, the singer wonders if they were ever really a part of the other person's life, or if their relationship was just an illusion. The repetition of the lines "Were you a part of me? Was I a part of you?" emphasizes this uncertainty. They're acknowledging that their relationship was exhausting and unfulfilling, and they're ready to move on. The chorus, with its powerful repetition of "Whoa, you lied from the start," shows the singer's anger and hurt over the deception.
Overall, "Turbulence" is a powerful song about a failed relationship and the emotional turmoil it causes. The lyrics are raw and honest, and the song itself is high-energy and intense, reflecting the chaos and confusion of a broken heart.
