As much as I absolutely love August Burns Red and this song, I really do wish they'd ease back a bit on the sheer volume of the drums and the bass. It makes the amazing melodies incredibly hard to hear, and it just makes their music sound noisier and more cluttered than it should.

This is now my least favorite of their holiday songs. It's not bad, but it is not nearly as good as anything else on Sledding' Hill. The composition is not as strong and I don't like they went with screaming vocals. All the others are instrumental (save for Rudolph) and it was much classier. This is not up to par for them.

I know very well what type of band they are. I'm a big fan. I just like the approach the took with the original Sleddin Hill album and this doesn't fit it. It fits the rest of their music just fine, and next to that, is very good.
