I made up my mind
I think I'm gonna love you
For a long long time
You were lying there sleeping
The sunlight in your hair
Then something happened to me
I could never paint a picture
And words are hard to say
So I wrote this song I'm singing
Just for you today
This is my song and
I'm singing to you
I'll sing it to you
For the rest of my life
This is my song and I'm singing to you
It's all I can do
I can't make without you
I guess I just wanted you to know
That if I could live forever
And you were not there too
I think I'd give it all away
For one more night with you
This is my song and I'm singing to you
I'll sing it to you for the rest of my life
This is my song and I'm singing to you
I'll sing it to you for the rest of my life
This is my song and I'm singing to you
I'll sing it to you for the rest of my life
This is my song and I'm singing to you
I'll sing it to you for the rest of my life

When I woke up this morning
As I started my day today
I made up my mind
I came to a firm decision
I think I'm gonna love you
I'm convinced that I'll have affection for you
For a long long time
For an extended period of time
You were lying there sleeping
You were resting next to me
The sunlight in your hair
The light was shining on your hair
Then something happened to me
I underwent a change within me
When I saw you lying there
At the moment I looked at you
I could never paint a picture
I don't have the skill to create an image
And words are hard to say
It's difficult to express myself through words
So I wrote this song I'm singing
That's why I wrote this piece of music I'm performing
Just for you today
Especially for you at this moment
This is my song and
This is mine, and
I'm singing to you
I'm performing to you
I'll sing it to you
I'll keep on performing for you
For the rest of my life
For the remainder of my existence
It's all I can do
This is the most I can offer
I can't make without you
I wouldn't be complete without you
I guess I just wanted you to know
I wanted to inform you
That if I could live forever
Assuming I could exist indefinitely
And you were not there too
If you weren't with me
I think I'd give it all away
I would surrender everything
For one more night with you
Just to spend one more evening together
