True story: During the first half of my Journey, I was alone, just taking in the beauty of the sandy landscape that stretched on forever. Along the way, I met a stranger. Despite our silence, I knew he/she had the same goal as I did. As we traversed the dunes under the shadow of the ominous mountain in the distance, we helped each other throughout the many dangers along the way and even had some humorous moments.
We met only a short time, and yet this person never led me astray. Through it all, this person never left my side and I never left his or hers; it was as if we were friends for years. When we approached the top of the mountain and the strong winds knocked me over the edge of the cliff and I fell, this person actually waited for me to climb back up, refusing to go on without me.
After our Apotheosis, we flew up toward the mountain peak, flying around each other in a joyous dance as we celebrated our triumph. When we landed, I immediately made for the light that had beckoned us throughout the journey but stopped when I saw this stranger, my guide, my guardian...my *friend*, draw a heart that was big enough for me to see in the sand beneath our feet. I returned the gesture with a heart of my own engraved in the blue sand and we both began walking towards the light.
As we got closer, I began to feel a great sadness, realizing that this might be the last time we'll meet each other. I wanted to badly tell my new friend:
"Even though I have no idea who you are or where you're from...I love you."
Right before we entered the light, my friend gave me a nod, as if acknowledging what it was that I wanted to say. I nearly burst into tears as our silhouettes grew fainter as we walked side by side into the whiteness, ending our Journey.
This was during my second play-through of Journey and I could not find the words to describe what I felt at the end of it.
All I know is that this game really is a journey, of the heart, the soul and everything else imaginable. Play on.

To be honest, I really thought I was playing with some AI.
However, I never knew any AI who would do the things my friend did.
Waited for me, took a lot of hits, and guided me when things got rough.
I avoided this game thinking it was an indie puzzle bland game.
I was soooooooo wrong.
It's that one kind of game that gives you that one feeling, that one thing no other game can give...
I don't know what that feeling is called, but I felt a lot of it since the very beginning, until the end.
Thank you for playing with me... random person.

To each his day is given
To each his day is given
Tis time That I fare from you
Lost is my home coming
Lost is my homecoming
I was born for this
Along this road
Goes no one
Along this road
This autumn eve
I was born for this
Do not pity me
I was born for this

A slight correction on the greek part, it's "oleto men moi nostos" and it means "there is no return for me".
Thank you for posting the lyrics! :)
