The lyrics to Autopista Sur's song "Dulce Luisa" speak about a mysterious woman who goes by the name of Dulce Luisa. She is described as being both delicate and powerful, with flowers during the day and velvet at night. She is also a heartbreaker and knows how to move to the rhythm of the music. However, the singer notes that she is also quite secretive, like a tree that he once carved his initials into, and serious, like a violin with no concert. The singer seems to be asking what he can do with the knowledge that Dulce Luisa prefers the Statue of Liberty to Maria Lionza split in half, as if he is at a loss as to where to go from there. Despite these uncertainties, the song ends with the reassurance that the rhythm of life goes on for Dulce Luisa, regardless of what happens.
