Reflections
Avastera Lyrics

Watching the room
As it spins my life around
I've taken my place
Stood on true ground
Counting the seconds until I found
And I realise
What it all means
I've taken it in
I've taken control
But I know I can do this on my own
I guess this leaves us only one thing
Reach out
I understand
I'll let it rain
I'll follow my youth
To right back where I left
Remember my life
Where I use to be
Trying to retrace all the pieces you need
If they don't fit
Start over again
Write it all down so it's stuck in your head
The past is the past
No need for regrets
All of the pain you would rather forget
Our time is now
It's come to this
Reach out and grab what you've always believed
Reach out
I understand
I'll let it rain
I'll follow my youth
To right back where I left
And I'll be fine when you're here with me
Reach out
I understand
I'll let it rain
I'll follow my youth
To right back where I left
The lyrics of Avastera's song "Reflections" describe the feeling of being lost and trying to find one's place in life. The first verse reflects on the constant movement and change in life, as the room spins around the singer who is laying awake, trying to find some sense of direction. They acknowledge that they've taken control of their life but still feel uncertain about what the future holds. However, instead of dwelling on this uncertainty, the singer encourages themselves to reach out and connect with others who can help them along the way.
The second verse speaks to the importance of reflection and reminiscing on past experiences in order to move forward. It acknowledges that sometimes things don't fit, but rather than giving up, one should start over and write down what they've learned. The chorus repeats the call to reach out, to understand and be understood, to embrace both the past and present, and to follow one's dreams back to where they started.
Overall, the lyrics convey a message of hope and resilience in the face of uncertainty and change. Through this journey, the singer learns that they can find their way forward by connecting with others and embracing their past experiences.
