1. An independent electronic music project created in Vermont, USA by Tyler Shaw in early 2011.
Being skilled in music theory after 8 years of violin lessons and teaching himself how to play the guitar, he created his first EP, Never Say Forever, using the digital audio workstation GarageBand, but removed it later, due to his lacking production skills at the time.
After switching from GarageBand to FL Studio and figuring out how to use it, he released his debut album, Reflections Of A Dream, in December 2011.
Before the release, he asked the indie musician Yoav Landau, better known as The Living Tombstone, to remix one of the songs on his debut. Landau agreed and shortly after the remix was uploaded on YouTube, Shaw's fanbase began to grow.
As of September 2019 his discography consists of 11 full-length studio albums, 1 TV-Show based album, 10 EPs, 5 remix albums, 2 soundtrack albums, 2 compilation albums, and 22 singles, as well as a number of free-to-download songs on YouTube and SoundCloud under the name 'Aviators'.
His most recent 12th studio album, titled 'The Cinematic Future', released March 6, 2020.

Aviators Lyrics

Spread out your wings and leave the ground
Take off your regrets
We aren't the rejects
This is revolution now
We're fighting, we're fighting for the truth
(To fight the lies within the shadows)
Warriors with everything to prove
Don't look there's faces looking back
An enemy I can't attack
I'm held a hostage by these eyes
Familiar faces I deny
One face regret, the other pain
Two eyes in my past stare with shame
In my reflection I see fear
So I'm smashing through these mirrors
I won't let my past hold me on the ground
Let's break this maze of mirrors down, down, down
We are the walls come crashing down
We are the throne and we're the crown
Don't be a sidekick
You're gonna like this
Watch all the darkness hit the ground
If we have the strength to believe
(We can see better days to come)
From our reflections we'll break free
(Let two sides become just one)
Don't look there's faces looking back
An enemy I can't attack
I'm held a hostage by these eyes
Familiar faces I deny
One face regret, the other pain
Two eyes in my past stare with shame
In my reflection I see fear
So I'm smashing through these mirrors
I won't let my past hold me on the ground
Let's break this maze of mirrors down, down, down
We won't be held back by the image our pasts
We'll push forward by the only thing that lasts
Feels like these shards are cutting deep
This battle's breaking all of me
Feels like a battle against time
This war is festering inside
We can move past this struggle here
It's time to conquer our own fears
And break free of our mirrors
Don't look there's faces looking back
An enemy I can't attack
I'm held a hostage by these eyes
Familiar faces I deny
One face regret, the other pain
Two eyes in my past stare with shame
In my reflection I see fear
So I'm smashing through these mirrors
I won't let my past hold me on the ground
Let's break this maze of mirrors down, down, down
Down, down, down
Down, down, down
The lyrics to Aviators' song "Mirrors" speak to a universal struggle with self-doubt and the fear of being held back by past mistakes. The opening lines encourage the listener to sever the ties that hold them down and take flight, shedding regrets and embracing a new sense of possibility. The chorus emphasizes the importance of standing up for what is right, despite the challenges that may arise, and of embracing one's own strength and potential.
The reference to "mirrors" throughout the song suggests that the biggest obstacle to personal growth and progress may be one's own self-image. The singer sees familiar faces and past mistakes staring back at them with shame, regret, and fear. But instead of being held captive by these reflections, they choose to "smash" through the barriers they represent and move forward.
Overall, "Mirrors" is an uplifting and empowering song that encourages listeners to overcome their own inner demons and embrace their true potential, despite the challenges that may arise.

@SoundOfTheAviators
It's not always the case though. I'm a member of the EDMdistrict network, I've got ties with Monstercat and Russian Winter Records, and no one is restricting what I can make music about. I have every intention to take my music to the professional level, but if someone brings me a contract telling me what I can and can't write about, they can stick it where the sun don't shine. xD

@@trentlindsey7401 they said that the song was "the shit", not "shit". As in they think it is a good song. If you already knew that then never mind and sorry for the ping.

Even older now but still good!

I really like how the fight song/get pumped music fits with the idea of moving past your flaws by refusing to acknowledge them. It's certainly a compelling idea, choosing action over introspection, and the whole thing just comes together really nicely.

So. Freaking. Epic.
The chords. The drums. Oh man so good.
