This is the Avril I fell in love with when I was a young kid. Her music helped me get through some serious shit while growing up. First off, I'm not what you'd call an Avril Lavigne fan; most of the music I listen to is tons of alternative rock and pop from from 80s and early 90s. HOWEVER, the other day while driving my wife was listening to her late 90s/early 2000s pop mix on Spotify and this song came up. It instantly transported me back to my life during the early 2000s which by no means was a fairy tale, but it might as well be given the hell hole our society has become over the last several years.
