His discography as a solist consists of four albums ("¡Échale semilla!", "Secreto y Malibú", "Zorzal" and "Pesebre"), however he has been long known as a versatile instrumentalist in Buenos Aires and Europe, namely working with such groups as La Portuaria, Kevin Johansen, Sexteto Irreal, Soda Stereo, Juana Molina or Hypnofon...His other works include film, theatre and dance spectacles´ scores.
In December 2009 Axel Krygier released two new albums in Argentina: "Pesebre" and "Trois Tangos" (Los Años Luz Discos). The first one is his solo project and a continous musical exploration. Expect new surprises: lots of cumbias, weird grooves and Klezmer beats. "Trois Tangos" is Axel's musical score to a Parisian contemporary musical-opera, staged last year in the French capital.

Cabeza de barro
Axel Krygier Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
la noche me está tragando,
es la calle la que me está llevando.
Me cubro con las manos
para que no se ablande
mi cabeza de barro.
Las agujas del reloj
tejieron la historia de nuestra tragedia;
hundiéndome definitivamente
bajo la tierra.
In Axel Krygier's song "Cabeza de barro," the singer is overwhelmed by the night and the rain as they wander through the streets. The repeated refrain of "mi cabeza de barro" reveals a sense of vulnerability and fragility; the singer fears that their head will soften in the rain if they don't protect it. The lyrics go on to suggest that the singer's pain is rooted in a shared history with someone (presumably a former lover) who they refer to as "nuestra tragedia." The image of the "triste monoblock" suggests a housing project, a cramped and melancholy place where the singer feels trapped and overwhelmed by memories. By the end of the song, the singer has "definitively" sunk "under the ground," which could be interpreted as a metaphor for giving up or being consumed by grief.
Overall, "Cabeza de barro" is a haunting and melancholy song that uses vivid sensory details to create a sense of dislocation and emotional turmoil. The repeated refrain of "mi cabeza de barro" highlights the theme of vulnerability and emotional fragility, while the imagery of rain and darkness emphasizes the harshness of the world around the singer. The sense of being trapped and overwhelmed by memories adds to the overall sense of melancholy and despair in the song.
