Axwell, born Axel Hedfors in the Swedish countryside, found that music was in his system from a tender age. Playing the drums at the age of 9, he became frustrated with his fellow classmates who could not keep up; he traded his drums at the age of 13 for a computer so he could play all the instruments himself.
Axwell released alot of acidtechno music made with Fasttracker2 in the years of 1995-1997 under the pseudonym Quazar (of Sanxion) and was featured in the intro of the warezgroup Hybrid's crack of the classic computer game Worms 1. During this time he also competed in music competitions, most notably at the demo party Hype in southern Sweden.
During the mid-2000s, Axwell rose to prominence as a solo artist. His hit Feel the Vibe was very well received on European dancefloors, and once the track soon picked up support from a host of big DJs it was re-released with a vocal, reaching #16 in the UK charts. Other famous tracks include Watch the Sunrise as well as dance music remixes of Hard Fi’s Hard to Beat and Roger Sanchez’s Turn on the Music.

Heart Is King
Axwell Lyrics

Miscellaneous
Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
I don't need a mansion on a hill
That overlooks the sea
Maybe I'm a rolling stone
Who won't amount to much
But everything that I hold dear
Is close enough to touch
For home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
Maybe I'm a rolling stone
Who won't amount to much
But everything that I hold dear
Is close enough to touch
For home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
Home, home, home, home, home
The lyrics to Axwell's song "Heart Is King" capture the essence of what it means to have a home. The opening lines of the song reference Elvis Presley's song "Home is Where the Heart Is," which emphasizes the importance of having a place that is special and meaningful. The lyrics go on to describe how the singer's heart is anywhere the person they love is. They don't need extravagant possessions or a grand home to feel at home, as long as they are with the one they love.
The chorus repeats the idea that home is where the heart is, and the singer's heart is wherever their significant other is. The bridge of the song acknowledges the possibility that the singer may not have much material success, but what they hold dear is close enough to touch. This sentiment further reinforces the idea that home is where the heart is and not about material possessions.
Overall, the lyrics to "Heart Is King" emphasize the importance of love over material possessions and the joy that can be found in being with the person you love. The song reminds us that no matter where we are in the world, as long as the person we love is with us, that is where our hearts are.
