Me besó los labios
Y a mi me provoca
Me va acorralando
Apretó mi boca
Me besó bailando
The lyrics of Azucar Moreno's song Tus Besos Me Matan speaks about the incredible feeling that the kisses of a lover make one feel. The song starts by talking about the feeling of being kissed on the mouth and lips and how it provokes the desire for more. The singer acknowledges that the kisses of their lover are harmful yet they cannot resist them. As the song progresses, the lover takes control of the situation, gripping the waist and kissing intensely while dancing. The singer requests to be kissed quickly and slowly and pleads for the lover not to stop.
The emotions portrayed through these lyrics are intense and passionate, as the singer acknowledges the addictiveness of their lover's kisses, despite the knowledge of the potential harm they may cause. The use of the word "canalla," meaning scoundrel or rascal, intensifies the lyrics and gives them an edgy, raw feel.
