Azul Violeta turns 25 years old. To this end, the group that today is made up of Ugo, Orco, Yuri, Iván, Shaboomy and Mayer, is working concentrated on a series of actions that will materialize in 2014. A concert at the Diana Theater for the celebration of two and a half decades of friendship , inspiration, work and complicity with his followers; the recording of a new cluster of songs in an album that will be released at the beginning of next year, and a documentary in which his intense and productive musical adventure is narrated, are some arguments that confirm that Azul Violeta is a reality with a past, present and above all a lot of future.

Follar
Azul Violeta Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
me gusta follar
prenderme en fuego volverme a apagar
Hay gente que le gusta la accion
hay otros que les gusta el terror
The song "Follar" by Azul Violeta seems to explore different human preferences and tendencies. The opening lines suggest that some people are drawn to action, some to horror, and others to love or dancing. However, the singer asserts that their own people were drawn to fighting, a theme that always ended in war. The violence in which they engaged was ultimately driven by a love of death, and the cycle of violence continued as the earth was consumed by it.
The song then changes tack and introduces the chorus, in which the singer proclaims that they like to "follar", which roughly translates to "have sex" in Spanish. However, the repeated phrase is coupled with extremes of sensation, as the singer becomes "en fuego" (on fire) and then "apagar" (extinguish), suggesting that sex is a polarizing activity for them, one that can either ignite or extinguish their inner flames.
Overall, the song seems to juxtapose different human desires and impulses with violence and sexuality, presenting a complex, perhaps even contradictory, portrait of human psychology.
