Spirits
B/W Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

This might sound crazy but
My spirit animal got to be a female
In the spirit of she, Eye come alive
As the divine feminine
Bold as the sound of a Bori siren
Kissing the Caribbean horizon like sunset
Eye be that Mother Nature typhoon
Eye be my mother nurtured
In the wild of her nature
Born in the lioness den
My paws got scars in them
From predators posing as friends
Only to get close enough
To seize my queendom in the end
They reach for my privates
Like my dress was coming up
Like I wanted it
Like I asked for it
They stare in my presence
As if I only came with physical presents
My beauty is leverage
Negotiating with the ugly
They spew at me
Can't a caged bird still sing
My roar rings
Like the vocal cords of Marian Anderson
In front of a Lincoln mantle
Hopping over Daffy's
Because in god we duck from the old man's America
He treat everyday like rabbit season
And I'm the bad bunny that bugs him
Using masked disguises to invade and make fun of him
Until I slip into an anamorphic loop
And become him
The beast I unleash
Wears a breastplate of righteousness
It's mouth is shaped like the Woman's Suffrage.
It yell like my Betty
It cry like my Tina
It laughs like my Joy
It cusses like my Rosie
It won't forget like my Ruthie
It fights like my sistas
It talks back like my niece
It praises like all 17 of my aunties in a prayer circle lifting hands at the same time
Shouting "thank you" "I'm so grateful"
"God dance in my heart"
"Dance til your feet hurt"
The beast inside (Divine feminine)
Is my divine feminine
Complimenting my eternal masculine

Great job explaining the deck concisely! You might consider having a demo match either included in the video or as a separate video linked in the description so people can see the deck playing out.

Hot take:
Play 4 Katildas (or maybe just 3) main deck, my reasoning is that it's basically like an adeline, but with flying and lifelink,

Ryan Botting - Magic: The Gathering

I think that reasonable if you wanna play the deck like that. If you're doing that you're probably supposed to play the flying lord. The issue if that this deck wants things to be low cost to always leave up countermagic or to just play as a flash deck. Being heavy on Katilda sort of sets up the deck to be an evasive aggro deck, which is fine, but not this.

@Ryan Botting - Magic: The Gathering That's fair, could be a solid plan B, oh... now I get why it's in the sideboard...
