Went to a party, the New York style
I attended a party in New York City with a certain kind of vibe and energy.

I encountered a woman with a captivating and mesmerizing presence that had the power to arouse even the most rational individual's emotions.

Finally, after a long wait and many disappointments, she allowed me to be physically close to her, but only in a limited way and in a random location such as Oakland.

And then she said, "I'm late for beauty appointment,/I've got a headache, and I believe I'm coming down with the flu."
As soon as we got a glimpse of a possible connection, she abruptly pulled away once again, using excuses such as appointments and ailments to avoid me.
