I understand. The song brings tears to my eyes too. Life is a series of losses. Nothing and no one lasts. How we cope with pain in a hostile, indifferent world is random. And then we end.
I'm sorry for whatever it is that you feel. I know what loss and pain is. I was 13 in 1968 and would get goose bumps from the emotion in this song.

@@albertmarnell9976 Thanks for that, we met at a school dance,she was 13 and I was 15,very mature for her age. Within a few months I knew she was put on this earth to be with me till death do us part. Always by my side through good and bad,together for 53 years 48 of those we were married. Soul mates for sure!!
