B.W.H. Lyrics

One, two, three

Hey

One, two, three

Overall Meaning

The first verse indicates that the artist is unstoppable and unapologetic in his pursuits. He refuses to stop at a stop sign and is not bothered by any woman who is not his. He has been grinding all this time, and now it's his time to be the greatest. He has learned from his mistakes, and he will keep working hard, making as much money as he can until he retires. He doesn't care about finding love because he knows it's not for him.

The chorus of the song, "No, I can’t stop at no damn stop sign, And I ain’t trippin’ bout no woman that is not mine, I had to grind cuz niggas told me that it’s my time, Time to be the greatest", reinforces the artist's motivations, and ambitions. The artist has climbed up to where he is now, and he knows that he can’t be held down.

Lifelike - Heatwave brought me here, so good

@DeeEmm

Why are the most obscure songs the most amazing?

@bloodmapedit

Because this wasn't a record to be played on the radio back in the days but it sounds more organic and dynamic than modern shite, also the tempo here does wonders.

@weplaywax

@@bloodmapedit Yes and let's not forget about no autotune, no overly engineered delay and reverb, very minimal compression, almost no quantization, minimal sequencing and much, more. Modern songs are 90% engineering, 10% composition. We have reached an era of sound perfection, each frequency band carefully manicured, record labels won't even talk to you if you have any overlapping frequencies. I'm not saying good music is not still made, but the majority focus on how good it sounds, not how well it's written.

@Gazdatronik

Because you haven't heard it yet
