The lyrics "We ride the whore, we tramp upon the savior of thine, we are those gods left behind" exhibit the power dynamic between the two entities. There is a clear sense of degradation towards a higher power hence the lines like "we tramp upon the savior of thine." Towards the end, the lyrics "Ride the whore in lust and see the angels in disgust" seem to be aimed at another faction; It could be concluded that the higher power referred to here is anti-religious or anti-Christianity in some way or the other.
