Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
What's a song if it don't have words?
What's the word if it don't get heard
You can paint it anyway that you like
What life taught me can't be unlearned
And every bridge can't be unburned
You can't wait 'til you get your turn
I could try to make it home but you're still on third
Look, your whole life need a renovation
Yea, let me give you a demonstration
No limitations, no intimidation
I'm tryna live good, that's an understatement
They say life's about choices
In the face of defeat I declined
Put your soul into everything, never back down
That's how you leave a legacy behind
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
The world don't stop so we don't quit
The show goes on, tomorrow's here today
So live your life and do your thing
Enjoy each moment, it could slip away
'Cause nothing is promised, nothing is free
There ain't no receipts or guarantees
When it's done, there will be no severance fee
Just a far away dream you've yet to reach
That's why you have to go all out for it
No half-time, gotta ball out for it
Full court press, life is the test
Can't play sick, can't call out for it
'Cause I don't wanna fall, no skydive
Stand tall through it all, that's a high rise
Make a something out of absolutely nothing
That's the definition of a survivor
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
So let me be like the trees
Where I can rustle my leaves
To join the wind in the sky
If this was all a mistake, I'd rather leave this place
Than be a breathing lie
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
Just keep me shining like a chandelier
Just keep me shining like a chandelier
Hold me when I'm down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier
The lyrics to B.O.B.'s "Chandelier" suggest a desire for support and resilience amidst life's hardships. The phrase "hold me when I'm down" emphasizes the need for emotional support, while "bury my soul underneath the ground" could be seen as a desire for a fresh start or a release from negative patterns. The lines “Let my blood keep pumping, my heart keep beating, shining like a chandelier” represent a desire to keep moving forward and to shine brightly through adversity, much like a chandelier illuminates a room.
The song stresses the importance of perseverance and hard work, and the line "make something out of absolutely nothing, that's the definition of a survivor" suggests that even when dealt a difficult hand in life, one can still overcome challenges and achieve success through determination and hard work.
Overall, “Chandelier” is a song about resilience, the importance of perseverance, and the value of having emotional support during difficult times. It encourages listeners to never give up on their dreams and to push through obstacles in order to achieve them.

This is actually one of the best songs I've ever heard, and that's mostly because both singers perfectly compliment each other instead of intruding like many other songs. Definitely one of the best adds on my playlist, I'm in love.

This song has helped me through alot. This was the only song i can listen to as soon as i heard of my uncles death and i never understood why. trying to deal with his death was and still is one of the hardest things i have to endure. Theres even some moments where i still think he is alive. his death hurt me so much to the point that i dont remember nor do i want to remember the day of his death. I had so many thoughts running through my head when this happened and all i wanted to do was end all the pain and suffering i felt. This song was the only way i truly could forget about it all. A year later, i lost yet another uncle and all i could think of is coming back to this song and listening to it over and over while i was alone in my room. Even when my dear grandma mama mickie died, the only comfort i ever found and was able to deal with all there deaths was this song. So i truly want to thank B.o.B and Lauriana Mae for creating such a beautiful piece of art. and R.I.P Tio Marino, Tio Jose, and Mama Mickie. I miss you guys
