Things learned from Gekirock interview:
-Miku was kinda forced by Akane to play the guitar since musically, 2 guitar can broaden the band's sound
-Saiki didn't know she had to wear maid outfit. She was uncomfortable wearing them. First she wore aprons, chokers and stuff, but little by little she never wore them again. She was glad when they changed their outfits according to their tastes. Which now all black. Miku and Kanami are easily maid outfit look. MISA doesn't look like one but somehow look like a Chinese maid.
-MISA's stage drink is alcohol. Whiskey. Even other bands composed of boys don't have alcohol as their stage drinks. xD
-Kanami admires SANTANA, Larry Carlton, Richie Kotzen and the great Steve Vai (she studies his techniques)
-Maximum the Hormone is what influenced Akane to play the drums
-Saiki is a closet metal hard rock fan. She was really glad they went to hard rock. It suits her voice too. She became more determined.
-All of them are timid and shy around strangers/people. But when they stand on stage, it all washes away. Returns when they get off stage. xD
-Thanks to people outside of Japan, they know what their real genre path is now. Hard, Violent Rock.

Regardless of their popularity, I feel band maid is underrated. Rock sucks so much balls these days, Band Maid deserves to be recognized as one of the hardest rocking bands on the circuit.

The drummer not only plays amazing beats, but the fills and groves really set the tones of all the songs, sending the quality to the heavens.
