Label boss BCee (aka Steve Jeffery) has quietly gone about building a label with a back catalogue graced by some of the scenes biggest names: from Marky, Logistics, S.P.Y., Lenzman, Redeyes and of course BCee himself. Back in 2007 Ram Records' production wizard Lomax found fame within the scene after his ultra cool Brain Freeze EP catapulted him into the limelight and everyone from Blame to Crissy Criss has stepped up to remix tunes from the Spearhead stable.

BCee Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Do you see what I see?
Why am I not happy?
Drops are getting in my shoes
And laces none can take away my blues
Are you only passing through?
Or are you gonna love me?
All I see is this
All I see is this
All I see is this
Are you gonna love me?
Yellow curtains shining down on me
Do you see what I see?
Why am I not happy?
In BCee's song Firebox, the lyrics convey a sense of uncertainty and confusion in a relationship. The yellow curtains symbolize a sense of brightness and happiness, yet the singer questions why they are not feeling happy despite their surroundings. The opening line, "Yellow curtains shining down on me, do you see what I see?" shows the singer's hesitation to trust their own emotions and perception, seeking validation from their partner.
The following lines mention "drops getting in my shoes" and "laces none can take away my blues" which illustrate the singer's feeling of being stuck and unable to shake off their negative emotions. The line "are you only passing through" implies a lack of commitment from the partner, leaving the singer questioning whether they will receive the love they desire.
The chorus repeats the phrase "all I see is this, are you gonna love me?" which is a plea for love and reassurance. The repetition of this phrase emphasizes the singer's need for affirmation from their partner.
Overall, the lyrics in Firebox convey a feeling of insecurity and doubt in a relationship. The yellow curtains serve as a metaphor for the fleeting and elusive nature of happiness, and the repetition of the question "are you gonna love me?" shows the singer's desperation for love and commitment.
