BFG Lyrics

Amelia, why didn't you believe me?
I hear your voice, your mocking words still taunt me
I hear your voice, your memory still haunts me
Believe me now, though passion clouds your virtue
Believe me now, you know that this is torture?
Amelia, I didn't meant to hurt you.
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Walk with me, walk with me through this nightmare
Walk with me 'cause baby you know I care
Amelia, though dark dispels your vision
Amelia, please give me recognition... recognition
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Love me, desire me,
Take my hand, take my hand, take my hand
And walk with me, to the promised land
Amelia, Amelia
Come and walk with me
I love you
Amelia see less
The song "Amelia" by BFG is a heart-wrenching ballad about losing someone you love and trying to cope with the pain and grief that comes with it. The lyrics convey a sense of longing and regret as the singer addresses the titular character, wondering why she had to leave and questioning whether she ever believed in his love. The repetition of "Love me, desire me" underscores his desperate need for her affection, while the line "I didn't mean to hurt you" suggests that there may have been some underlying conflict or misunderstanding that led to their separation.
