Scream
BIM Lyrics

And common sense won't prevail with me
Overwhelming, to live on and breathe in
And I, I couldn't be all that I am
When I say I can't you just say you can
And without you I'd never be that strong
I was never enough for you
And I'll scream
I've been holding in this feeling forever
You promised that you'd never again
Scream
I guessed we'd always be there forever
You knew we'd never be there again
Scream out, I scream out
This time all my love won't break
It will smash you'll see
It's common sense to be hated by me
Overcomplicated to live on and take it
And I, I couldn't be all that I am
When I say I can't you just say you can
And without you I'd never be that strong
I was never enough for you
And I'll scream
I've been holding in this feeling forever
You promised that you'd never again
Scream
I guessed we'd always be there forever
You knew we'd never be there again
Scream out, I scream out
And I was proud to stand and love one another
Oh how it's changed
We swore we'd always stay the same
Oh how you've changed
The lyrics of BIM's song Scream express feelings of frustration, disappointment, and betrayal towards a significant other. The opening lines of the song suggest that the singer's heart is beating uncontrollably, and despite common sense, they cannot shake off their feelings. The lyrics continue to emphasize the relationship's complications, with the singer feeling overwhelmed and not being able to be their true self.
The chorus features the singer finally releasing their pent-up emotions and screaming out in frustration. They have been holding in their feelings forever and were promised that their partner would never hurt them again. However, the relationship has drifted apart, and the singer realizes that their promises of forever were never genuine. The final lines of the song express the disappointment and change that has occurred, with the singer feeling proud of their love for each other but also acknowledging how much that love has diminished.
Overall, BIM's Scream is a song that deals with the painful feelings that can arise in a relationship. The lyrics paint a picture of a failed relationship where promises were broken, leading to frustration, disappointment, and ultimately, the need to scream out.
