I still eat at Sombreros in Poway sometimes. There used to be shrine to Blink there on a tac board and they used to get fan mail sent there. Now there’s just a single picture of them tucked behind a bunch of shit. The City of Poway is crazy for not making that place a historical landmark. Same here, back in the day I really hated Tom's thin/ fizzy guitar tone. These days I appreciate how they left a bit of space in their music rather than trying to maintain that huge "wall of guitar" sound that defined 90's punk. I think as a 3 piece it let them get away from just mashing power chords as hard as they could at all times, like MxPx or Good Riddance. Not that I dont like that stuff too, but creatively it was a smart approach.

As I watched the video I had the exact same thought. There' usually a nice positive vibe about 90's music video. Specially punk rock songs.
Unlike nowadays, were musicians just want to be edgy or shocking.

I love that this video was filmed at my high school. The year after I graduated. I love how Alyssa Milano stands right next to my old locker and how they used all of our real PE and cheerleading uniforms. Makes me miss Westlake Village, CA. and high school.
