A combination of pulsating synth sounds that bed down layered textures of electronic bass and percussive beats. Influenced by the layerings and experimental beats of Major Lazer, the cool swagger of J-Dilla and The Seed 2.0βs Cody Chestnuttβs soulful vocal delivery. BOO SEEKA snaps up melodies and bounces them off hip-hop/R&B driven grooves and beats that vibe.

Followed by 2 SOLD OUT Headline single tours of the east coast. Theyβve supported the likes of DMAβs, Jarryd James, Kovacs in the EUand UKand have also showcased at The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City.
In 2016, they sold out their own national headline Oz tour and went back to EU and the UK for their own run of shows and festivals. After that was done, they came back home to play on home soil, just in time for summer festivals, including Groovinβ The Moo, Splendour In the Grass, Southbound and Party in the Paddock. Boo Seeka, being the hardest touring bands in Oz at the moment, also managing to squeeze in a 3 month long tour with Cherub and Frenship in October - November of 2016.

Their most recent single, βDoes This Lastβ, navigates through a bed of spacey synth and string layers. Building on their eclectic soul-tronic sounds. The single has been placed on high rotation on Triple J and have been featured on a few Spotify AU/NZ playlists (including 5 weeks on the Indie Mixtape playlist). Itβs the first taste of their first album, due for release August 2017 (through Sureshaker & Warner Music Australia).

Cause I've been waiting here for too long
Through the moonlight, I can see
More or less, I think I'm dreaming
Is it ever enough
Cause I've been laying here for too long
After midnight, I can't breathe
Everything has me believing
The way we go, we go, go back to being
Everything that I know we'rΠ΅ feeling
I just wanna fly
Can I take you along for the ride
TakΠ΅ you along for the ride
We go, we go, go back to feeling
All of the things I know we're seeing
I just wanna fly
Can I go back, go back, go back
Is it ever enough
Cause I've been laying here for too long
Close my eyes so I can see
Everything has me believing
Is it ever enough
Cause I've been waiting, I've been waiting
In the moonlight, I can't be
Everything that I've been dreaming
I am already alone
The way we go, we go, go back to being
Everything that I know we're feeling
I just wanna fly
Can I take you along for the ride
Take you along for the ride
We go, we go, go back to feeling
All of the things I know we're seeing
I just wanna fly
Can I go back, go back, go back?
Is it ever enough is it ever enough
Go back, go back, go back is it ever enough
Go back, go back, go back is it ever enough
I am already alone
The way we go, we go, go back to being
Everything that I know we're feeling
I just wanna fly
Can I take you along for the ride
Take you along for the ride
We go, we go, go back to feeling
All of the things I know we're seeing
I just wanna fly
Can I go back, go back, go back
Is it ever enough
The song Never Enough by BOO SEEKA is a track that explores the feeling of dissatisfaction and longing for something more than what one currently has. The lyrics begin with the question "Is it ever enough?" which sets the tone for the rest of the song. The singer of the song has been waiting for something for too long, and even though they're dreaming and seeing things, nothing seems to be enough. Despite being in the moonlight, the singer can't shake off the feeling of being alone.
The chorus "The way we go, we go, go back to being everything that I know we're feeling" suggests that the singer has been stuck in a cycle of feeling the same emotions repeatedly. They want to break free from this cycle and seek something new, a feeling of flying and being accompanied on that journey. The last lines of the song "Is it ever enough? Go back, go back, go back, is it ever enough?" are repeated, emphasizing the question that the singer has been grappling with throughout the song.
Overall, Never Enough by BOO SEEKA is a reflective song that touches on the universal feeling of wanting more and the search for meaning and fulfillment in life.
