A combination of pulsating synth sounds that bed down layered textures of electronic bass and percussive beats. Influenced by the layerings and experimental beats of Major Lazer, the cool swagger of J-Dilla and The Seed 2.0’s Cody Chestnutt’s soulful vocal delivery. BOO SEEKA snaps up melodies and bounces them off hip-hop/R&B driven grooves and beats that vibe.

We'll be here again, we'll be here again
Walk this line for you and mine
Oh there's now and then
Oh there's now and then
You're asking why, but soon you'll fly
And we'll be clear again
We'll be clear again
You'll be everywhere, you'll be everywhere
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
For now you walk and clearly talk
You can let me go, you can let me go
All I've got is knowing what
You deserve to know, you deserve to know
Free your heart for a new start
Leave the rest behind, leave the rest behind
Play your part, I'll create my heart
See what we can find, see what we can find
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
This is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
Don't wanna be called don't wanna be called
The enemy
Somewhere between you all things for reasons
Don't stop just be alone i am
All things are this time I make this call
Don't wanna be
Don't wanna be called don't wanna be called
The enemy this is for you and me
Don't want to be called
Don't want to be called the enemy
The lyrics of BOO SEEKA's song "You and Me" convey a sense of frustration and longing within the constraints of a relationship. The opening lines, "Our hands are tied this silent night, we'll be here again, we'll be here again," suggest a feeling of being stuck or trapped. The repetition of the line "Walk this line for you and mine, oh there's now and then" implies that they are trying to navigate the difficulties of their relationship, but with mixed results. They acknowledge that there are ups and downs, as indicated by the line "You're asking why, but soon you'll fly, and we'll be clear again." The singer wants to break free from being labeled as the enemy, desiring a more harmonious connection with their partner.
The chorus of the song emphasizes this desire for unity and understanding. They repeat the phrase "This is for you and me, don't want to be called the enemy," expressing a wish to transcend conflict and be seen as allies rather than adversaries. The subsequent verses again touch upon themes of growth, self-discovery, and the need for a fresh start. The lines "For now you walk and clearly talk, you can let me go, you can let me go" suggest the possibility of moving forward separately, while still valuing the lessons learned from the relationship. The lyrics convey a sense of hope, as they encourage each other to free their hearts, leaving behind the past and exploring what lies ahead.
Overall, "You and Me" is a reflective song about the complexities of a relationship and the desire for understanding and unity. It acknowledges the difficulties and frustrations but ultimately maintains a sense of hope for a better future.
