They began by recording demos together; DAIGO wrote the music and SHINPEI arranged it.

Later they were joined by AKIHIDE (guitar), Daigo's friend and some times support guitarist, after his band, NEVER LAND, split.

Their first single, was released on June 6, 2008, and is available through iTunes Japan.

Their self-titled first album was released on July 25, 2007.

Overall Meaning

Breakerz's song "Birdman" tells the story of a bird that fell to the ground with broken wings. The first verse talks about the bird's hopeless situation and how nobody would come to help it. If it can’t fly anymore, nobody needs to say or stay anything – it can be left alone to find for itself. The second verse talks about how the bird's damaged wings have now become a meaningless decoration. And even if it tries, it will ultimately fall again. Thus, the bird wishes for new wax wings to be built so it can fly once again.

The chorus talks about the bird wanting to return to the sky, even if just for a moment. It desires to jump and feel the wind beneath its wings before being swept up by the waves. It admits that life would be easy if it just gave up and let go, but the bird took pride in its wings and wants to fly again, even if others say it’s foolish. The last words of the chorus said by the singer himself, "myself." In the final verse, the singer says he will open his own broken wings to fly again, even though nobody can see it.
