Because I am aware of my imperfections and shortcomings

That's why the love that You're giving me
That's why I am grateful for the love God is showing me

I know I don't deserve it
I recognize that I am unworthy of such love and grace

And all the pain that You brought me through
And all the hardships and challenges God has helped me overcome

Indeed, it was painful, but every experience was valuable and necessary

Refining and purifying me through challenging circumstances

So You wouldn't have to say goodbye to me
So that I could have eternal life with Him and never be separated

In 3 days You got up out that grave
Jesus resurrected from the grave after three days

So I could live eternally
So that I may have everlasting life

So Lord, For all You do I clap my hands
Therefore, I enthusiastically applaud and praise God for all His blessings

Cuz I applaud You
I express my admiration and gratitude towards God

And me raising my hands
When I raise my hands in worship and surrender

And doing my dance
And when I dance in joyful celebration

Lord, You forgave
God has forgiven me

You freed me from my chains
God has liberated me from my bondage and captivity

You Pardoned my death sentence
God has forgiven me even though I deserved death

And gave me life instead

You Didn't Have To
God was not obligated to save me

God has taken away all my burdens and worries as well

All the filth I once portrayed
All the sinful and impure behaviors I used to exhibit

God has cleansed me from all my sins

Then promised me You're never leaving me
God has assured me that He will never abandon or forsake me

And granted me a fresh and renewed life

And now my life is living proof

You Loved me
God has an unconditional and infinite love for me

You Didn't Have To
God was not obligated to love me

You embraced me
God has warmly and affectionately accepted me

You Didn't Have To
God was not required to embrace me

You accepted me then You gave me You
God not only accepted me, but also offered Himself to me

That's a miracle
That is an extraordinary and wondrous occurrence

God was not compelled to perform miracles on my behalf

You Looked for me
God actively pursued and searched for me

God was not obliged to seek me out

You Reached out for me
God extended His hand and reached out to me

You defended me, You befriended me
God has protected me and become my close companion

And Lord I Know You Didn't Have To
And Lord, I am aware that You were not obligated to do any of these things

You Stood up for me
God has advocated for me and stood by my side

You Didn't Have To
God was not compelled to stand up for me

You Took licks for me
God endured suffering and took punishment on my behalf

You Didn't Have To
God was not required to bear my pain and punishment

Lord, You Gave me Mercy And Grace too
God has shown me His undeserved compassion and favor

And JESUS
