On December 31, 2020, Cube Entertainment announced that Ilhoon will leave BtoB.

The group originally consisted of Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, Ilhoon and Minwoo. They appeared on the JTBC sitcom "I Live in Cheongdam-dong" as an boy band working towards their debut. However, Minwoo left the group after their first appearance on the sitcom which had upset many fans. Later, Minwoo debuted as a member of C-Clown under Yedang Entertainment, changing his name to T.K.

On March 21, the group held their debut showcase in Seoul, which was streamed from their official YouTube channel. On March 22, they made their official debut on Mnet's M! Countdown with two title tracks, Imagine (a ballad track) and 비밀 (Insane) (a dance track). On April 3, 2012 they released their debut album "Born to Beat", with songs co-written by Jörgen Elofsson.

To all the new comers who came here after the 'K!ngdom' performance, first of all thank you for coming here and YES, this is BTOB. Did you notice BTOB's Main Vocal Eunkwang isn't even in the song(he enlisted at that time), but it didn't feel so because they all are Main Vocals! This heart breaking song is written and composed by member Hyunsik ( Rap Line writes their own parts :) Their songs are mostly self written and composed! BTOB is a seven member group! They're multi-talented...The rappers can sing and the vocal line can Rap.
Did you see their acting here when they all are literally the craziest. Their Motto is to 'Sell Emotions and not albums'! Please give them loads of love and support, they deserve IT!
Ps- Even if you're unfamiliar please love Ilhoon as well, he's an important part of BTOB and can't be left out. While I initially wanted their title track for this album to be more upbeat and fun just like their last album, I realize why they chose this ballad as their title track. BTOB doesn't just stop at making songs that are bops like other Kpop groups. They bring much more depth and emotions to their songs. I appreciate that BTOB is given the freedom to compose their songs and the fact that you instantly know a BTOB ballad once you hear it. I got to admit that the song didn't really get that into me when I first heard it a couple of hours ago but the more I listen to it, I get more acquianted with it which is the same when I first heard 'Missing You'. I also get some 'Missing You' vibes from this song. I love the fact that the emotions and drama in this song and the aesthetics and visuals in the MV are just overflowing. I also like how balanced and talented this group is with each member adding a different flavor to their songs. BTOB really stays true to what they said before: "we don't sell records, we sell emotions". I hope BTOB keeps making QUALITY music for many more years. =))

BTOB is the Kings of ballad! I felt their pain through their voice, and Hyunsik's low notes are so damn good it's KILLING ME! It's so rare listening to him singing that low, usually it's Sungjae who got low notes. Their acting are on point and their handsomeness are at its' peak!

This MV is fabulous. Other than their amazing vocal and rapping skill, I am so shocked to see their acting skills. Sunjae (appeared in 4 drama series), llhoon ( 2 internet drama), these 2 youngest members already showed a very natural and good acting skills. But the other members are also good. Hyunsik, Peniel, Changsub, Min Hyuk. Cube company, pls do more to them. Btob should deserve more recognition from the world as your boys got more other potential. Okay I know this song is about separation but Ilhoon's part I just found scared me a little bit cuz it's separated by death, like in 0:50 he's in room with many IV stands and wilted plants. The loading hourglass means his time has stopped flowing and the nets in front of TV means he's trapped maybe, then surgery bed which tells everything
