.In 1991, Hammer signed B Angie B to his Capitol-distributed Bust It label. That year, Bust It/Capitol released her self-titled debut album, which James Earley produced with his Northern California colleague Felton Pilate (formerly of the funk band Con Funk Shun). Bust It/Capitol released a few songs from B Angie B's album as singles, including "So Much Love" and remakes of two 1970s soul hits: Rufus & Chaka Khan's "Sweet Thing" and the Emotions' "I Don't Want To Lose Your Love". The latter single became a minor hit. In April 1991, the album debuted at #11 on the Billboard Hip-hop/R&B charts and #132 on the Pop charts, with album sales peaking at a mediocre 137,000 copies. The sales did not quite satisfy Capitol, and Boyd was dropped from the label a little over a year later.
She appeared in the Kid 'n Play farce Class Act and sang on the soundtrack title track "Class Act (Work That Body)". The title track was also released as a video. B Angie B released a second album in 1995 under the Bust It label (with independent distribution). She dropped the first "B" and was known as Angie B. The album did not make an impact on radio or charts.
Her 1991 solo debut B Angie B on Capitol records was reissued in 2005 with a bonus DVD along with previous releases from former label mates Oaktown 357. After its 2005 re-issue, the album sold an additional 4,000 copies as of 2008. After becoming disillusioned with the music industry as a whole, she quietly left her recording career behind. In the summer of 2009, new music was released on her Myspace page (www.myspace.com/bangiebmusic), including a remake of "Ring My Bell". She has stated that she does not intend to release an album, preferring live performance and internet traffic. On the day of May 9, 2012, B Angie B released a follow up single titled "I Wanna Be (Right Here With You)."

Ooh... hoo... hoo...
Ooh... hoo... hoo...
Ooh... hoo... hoo... hoo...
Oh... hey...
Ooh... hoo... hoo... hey...
It's six o'clock and I'm just wakin' up
Go get my coffee and I think to myself [I think to myself]
Just what am I gonna do
Well, I need some help to understand
And only you can make it clear
Why do you have to look for love out there
When there's so much love here, yeah... hea... hea...
I spend so much time with you on my mind
I barely can make it through the day, ooh, hoo
Fighting the urge to pick up the phone
And call just to see if you're okay
Then I hear your voice, oh, you stumble [Stumble by] by
And my worries disappear
Why do you have to look for love out there (Ooh, boy)
When there's so much love here
Whoa... oh... oh... oh... oh...
You're always on the run, I know you're havin' fun
Pretending to look for that very special someone
But if you keep on disrespectin' me, I know there's gonna be
A day when you're gonna find me gone, oh... oh... oh... oh... oh... ho... ho... ho...
I'm gonna defend you right or wrong
I'm always on your side
Log on to kill this message.
And you know I'll go on to see it, yes, I will
When there are troubles on your mind
It's just a waste of time to try and find
Another love that's better than mine
I'm tellin' you the dream will never end, no, no
There's no need to look for love (Don't have to look for love) out there
When there's so much love here (So much love, so much love)
(I wanna ask you somethin') There's no need to look for love out there
(Why)
When there's so much love here (I just don't understand)
There's no need to look for love out (Woo... hoo... hoo...)
When there's so much love here (So much love, so much love, I want you to
Have all of my love)
There's no need to look for love out
When there's so much love here
The song "So Much Love" talks about a woman who is deeply in love with her partner but feels neglected because he is always on the run, searching for something better. The song begins with her waking up to a lonely morning without her partner and wondering why he has to look for love outside when there's enough love between them. She spends her time thinking about him and wanting to call him to make sure he's okay but resists the temptation. When she finally hears her partner's voice, all her worries disappear. She goes on to defend him no matter what and promises to be there for him through thick and thin.
The lyrics in "So Much Love" reflect the universal theme of love and its vulnerability, making it a relatable song for many people. The singer is in love with someone who is constantly seeking something better, leaving her feeling insecure and neglected. She loves him deeply and is prepared to put in the effort to make the relationship work, but she needs him to let go of the idea that there might be something better out there.
In conclusion, "So Much Love" is a soulful song with powerful lyrics that reflect the complexity of love, relationships, and the difficulties that come with it.
