Pop princess, pyromaniac clown, perfectionist rascal, stubborn and prolix poet - all are adjectives started with "b".
B Fachada is a virtuous multi-instrumentalist: from piano to guitar, the Braguesa guitar and even vocal trumpets. From the damned sonnet to alexandrine cyanide, demonstrating a 'Trás-os-Montes' grandiloquence and the jazz rusticity of scat.
Certifiably hyperactive when it comes to music production, Fachada has not only making various albums per year in his mind, as he shows in his discography the proof that he is capable of it. His first release with the label FlorCaveira, "Viola Braguesa", is a small collection of marvels that left critics salivating for the first consonant of the alphabet. "Fim de Semana no Pónei Dourado" follows, an LP, a Magnum Opus; a simultaneously tender and cursed album, a pat and and a punch, Dulcineia and Lorena Bobbit.
Literary even when spitting, Fachada makes songs for all sorrows, humor for all bellies.
Luck smiles at the audacious, but perfection smiles at the certifiably hyperactive."

B Fachada Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
também no tempo de uma vida
o que é que há-de mudar
que valha a pena não esquecer
fiz a escola necessária
pela via literária
até encher
desde 98 ando a tentar não estragar
não voltava atrás
para repetir as coisas boas e emendar as más.
Em 98 eu já fazia o que continuo a fazer
até larguei a bebida sem me deixar esmorecer
relembro a glória desses dias
não me meto em fantasias
faço-me entender
deixei o pau em 98
mas não sou assim tão mau
que não me possa manter
fiz-me em rapaz
depois não fui capaz
não voltava atrás
para repetir as coisas boas e emendar as más.
a vida fez-se
quem sou eu para contrariar
vem o fim do mês a confirmar.
In B Fachada's song "98", the singer reflects on his life, particularly on the year 1998 when he already knew what he needed to know and when he started to try not to ruin what he had learned. He acknowledges that not much has changed since then and that he refuses to go back and repeat the good things or correct the bad ones. He also mentions quitting drinking in 1998 and the glory of those days, but he does not indulge in fantasies. He admits that he was not able to become successful, but he still does not regret his decisions.
The lyrics suggest that the singer is content with his life and his achievements. He is not trying to change anything and accepts that this is the way it turned out. He is not bitter about missing out on success, but instead focuses on the fact that he has learned what he needed to learn. The song, therefore, embodies a message of acceptance and embracing the journey of life.
