This alternative folk pop band has developed a feeling for sad and harmonic vocals. The voices are combined with soft sounds from a sparse and well used instrumental set up that still sometimes leaves room for firm and edgy distorted guitars.
When Carlsson delivers his most delicate tones Baby Blonde and The Downs touches the levels of other giants in this broad genre. Rumours speak of Scandinavia's own Will Oldham. We couldn't agree moore!

Baby Blonde was formed in Malmö 2002 by Anders Carlsson, Martin Krall and Lukas Råberg (Reverend Big O). Erica Li Lundqvist and Richard Karlson joined the band soon after. When Andreas Grevsten-Danielsson (Souls, Haag, Monkeystrikes) teamed up, the band became Baby Blonde and The Downs.
