À l'humeur de mèche
Babylon Circus Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Overall Meaning

The song "À l'humeur de mèche" by Babylon Circus encourages listeners to keep a positive attitude to life, rather than wallowing in despair or taking out their frustrations on others. The song expresses disapproval of individuals who react negatively to life's troubles and instead promote the idea of finding ways to deal with emotions in a healthier way. The first set of lyrics suggest that it is not worth being upset over things that do not really matter, and that it is better to find humor in situations than to take them too seriously.

The second set of lyrics advises listeners to deal with their problems in a more productive manner. The phrase "laver son linge sale en famille" encourages individuals to keep their problems at home rather than projecting them onto others. They should focus on positive solutions instead of continually dwelling on their misfortunes. The third set of lyrics remind us that being overly upset, or "tomber marteau", is not helpful in solving problems. Rather, one should focus on the good things in life and learn to move forward.

Overall, the song advocates for a positive approach to life and handling challenges. It suggests that individuals should channel their energy into finding constructive solutions, rather than allowing negative emotions to rule their lives.

It's about somebody rejected by a girl, the song is a friend saying, more or less Bobby McFerrin's stuff like "don't worry, be happy". I'm quite sad that nobody answers in 4 months :/. Si it's the end of a romance in a bromance way ;).
