Teach Me
Bakermat Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Teach me master
Master teach me
Oh, I would not live
Live a liar
Teach me how to wait
I tell you the reason why
Oh, when I bow at the altar
Teach me what to say, uh huh

C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me

Teach me master
Master teach me
Oh, I would not live
Live a liar
Teach me how to wait
I tell you the reason why
Oh, when I bow at the altar
Teach me what to say
Oh, when I bow at the altar
Teach me what to say, uh huh

C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master
Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master

Teach me master, teach me
C'mon master

@manymifi1

I absolutely love this song & I love the music video and it's meaning.

I can't help it, everytime i watch the video i get the biggest smile.

When I become an old rinkly gentleman, I will not give up my youth no matter what. I want to go on a adventure everyday stock filled with impulsive ideas and excitement, just having fun with my friends who hopefully will have the same mindset as me. And that, is a promise to myself. <3

Also, i want to prank people all the time pretending that i have alzenheimer's or something like it, old people can get off the hook with pretty much everything ;)

In the end, age is just a number & happiness is not dependant on such man-made thing.

@ADAMOLOGY

This song is a African American spiritual song, that's connect to the African American spiritual, in which some churches STILL song this songThe lyrics are:
ARTIST SINGING- Shirley Caesar
Lord teach me Master, Master teach me
For I will not live, live a lair
I'll tell you the reason why
I was afraid my lord, might call me
And I wouldn't be ready to die.
Teach me master
When I'm bow at the alter, teach me what to say.
( And there's more lyrics to this song)
