The city was sticky and cruel
Maybe I should have called you first
But I was dying to get to you
I was dreaming while I drove
The long straight road ahead, uh, huh
Could taste your sweet kisses
This fever for you is just burning me up inside
I drove all night to get to you
Is that all right
I drove all night
Crept in your room
Woke you from your sleep
To make love to you
Is that all right
I drove all night
What in this world
Keep us from tearing apart
No matter where I go I hear
The beating of your heart
I think about you
When the night is cold and dark
No one can move me
The way that you do
Nothing erases the feeling between me and you
Could taste your sweet kisses
Your arms open wide
This fever for you is just burning me up inside
... to hold you tight
The lyrics of “I Drove All Night” by Bandido tell a story of a person who had to escape from a city they found cruel and sticky. They were compelled to drive all night long to reach their lover. Despite the distance between them, the singer continuously thinks about their significant other. The yearning and passion they have for their loved one are burning them up inside, and nothing can stop them from being with their lover.
The lyrics can be interpreted as the singer is in a long-distance relationship or going through a rough patch in their love life. The lyrics convey the desperation of the singer to be with their lover, and they would do whatever it takes to reach them. The beat of the music creates a sense of urgency and emotion, while the lyrics add depth to the message the song conveys.
Overall, “I Drove All Night” portrays the idea that the singer is willing to go the extra mile, literally, to be with their lover. Despite the obstacles in their way and the distance keeping them apart, the singer is determined to make their love survive.

Música linda! Esta música me remete aos anos 80/90, que foi uma festa musical, com uma combinação perfeita de vozes e instrumentos, num ritmo contagiante. Muita saudade !!!
