Ain't No Home
Banes World Lyrics

Ah, ah, ah
Thinking about the way she looked
The way she leapt right out of bed
I can′t seem to stop that day from replaying inside my head
Ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah
Cause this house ain't no home
Yeah, this house ain′t no home
Yeah, this house ain't no home
Without she, lying next to me
Ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah
She walks with such grace
She'll never be replaced
Cause this house ain′t no home
Yeah, this house ain′t no home
Yeah, this house ain't no home
Without she, lying next to me
The lyrics of Banes World's song "Ain't No Home" delve into the nostalgia and longing for a former lover. The song begins with the singer reminiscing about the way the person looked and how they would jump out of bed. He then reveals his inability to stop replaying the day in his head, implying that he cannot get over this person. The use of the repeated line "Ah, ah, ah" creates a melancholic and dreamy atmosphere, emphasizing the singer's drowning in memories.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "this house ain't no home" three times, with the final line revealing that the reason for this is the absence of the person lying next to him. The word "home" signifies a sense of belonging and comfort, and the emptiness of the house implies that without the person, the singer feels lost and alone. The last two lines of the song pay tribute to the person's grace and state that they are irreplaceable.
Overall, "Ain't No Home" is a poignant reflection on the longing for a past love and the emptiness left in its absence. The dreamy and nostalgic tone of the song, coupled with the melancholic lyrics, creates a sense of longing and wistfulness.

I was in eighth grade when I heard this song and when I was in love with this boy who only knew my name. We never talked but I always looked at him, always admiring his beauty and kindness, I would listen to this song a lot too. I’m now a freshman I left middle school not knowing the last time I would see him was my promotion. I really wanted to say something to him but I didn’t. I regret it so much. Worst mistake of my life.

So effectively composed, recorded and captured refections. As word combined with music form such a potent bond, that every moment of the song, becomes a single, sonic reflection of oneself, in this celestial pool of our human condition.

Favorite song of theirs. Question for concert-goers; if I'm 17 years old, and my friends are as well, would we be allowed to enter an 18+ venue? Bane's world is coming to Montreal in July and I don't wanna miss em lmao
