After disbanding in 1966, Tashian and Briggs went to California and were briefly members of the Flying Burrito Brothers. Tashian also later went on to play with Emmylou Harris and also perform bluegrass on tour with his wife Holly.
The Remains reformed decades after disbanding and in 2002 recorded a new album featuring original singer Barry Tashian, as well as the old lineup of Vern Miller, Bill Briggs and Chip Damiani.
Their material is available through Epic/Legacy & Sundazed labels and on the bands website.
Barry also has written a 160 page book called "Ticket To Ride: The Extraordinary Diary of The Beatles’ Last Tour" available at the bands website.

Oh yeah, she don't stand no teasin', my babe
Well, my babe, she don't stand no teasin', she don't stand none of that midnight creepin', my babe
True little baby is my babe
Oh, my babe I know she loves me, my babe
My babe I know she love me she don't do nothin'
but kiss and hug me, my babe, true little baby, my babe
Yeah, my babe don't stand no foolin', my babe
Oh yeah, she don't stand no foolin', my baby
Well, my babe don't stand no foolin' when she's warm
there ain't no coolin', my babe, true little baby, my babe
Well, my baby don't stand no foolin', my babe
Oh yeah, she don't stand no foolin', my baby
Oh yeah, she don't stand no foolin' when she's around
she's so darn coolin', my babe, true little baby, my babe
Well my babe, true little baby, my babe
Well my babe, true little baby, my babe
The song My Babe, recorded by Barry & The Remains, is a classic blues-rock number that features the singer expressing his love and admiration for his girlfriend. The main theme of the song is how his babe will not tolerate any kind of teasing, fooling or cheating, and how he knows she truly loves him, as she does nothing but kiss and hug him. It portrays a sense of confidence and security that the singer feels in his relationship with his babe, as she is everything he desires.
The lyrics of the song are simple but effective. They use repetition to emphasize the singer's feelings towards his babe. The refrain of "my babe, she don't stand …" is repeated multiple times, highlighting how the singer feels about his girlfriend. He is confident that his babe loves him and will not tolerate any kind of nonsense, making her the perfect partner for him.
The song was originally written by Willie Dixon and recorded by Little Walter in 1955, but has been covered by various artists over the years. Barry & The Remains recorded their version of the song in 1966, and it became a hit, reaching number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The simplicity of the lyrics and the catchy melody made it a favorite among fans of blues and rock music.

This is a great cover of one of my favorites by Little Walter. Barry and The Remains (from Boston, Mass.) opened for The Beatles on the latter's last American tour.
@RockingSoho
This band is just great. I love the dancing video for this song, but it has to wait in the queue jajajajajaja. Yes, and then they fell apart, I almost got all their singles, brilliant

@@RockingSoho -- Yeah, The Remains are a great band and somewhat underrated. "Don't Look Back" (The Remains) was written by Billy Vera of the band, Billy and The Beaters. My fave by The Remains is "Diddy Wah Diddy" (originally done by Bo Diddley). It almost has that "RT 66" (Rolling Stones) groove to it. Stay safe and well, dancing angel. -- W
