In 1978, five of his albums were on the best-selling charts simultaneously, a feat equaled only by Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Mathis. He has recorded a string of Billboard hit singles and multi-platinum albums that have resulted in his being named Radio & Records number one Adult Contemporary artist and winning three straight American Music Awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist. Several well-known entertainers have given Manilow their "stamp of approval," including Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s regarding Manilow, "He's next." In 1988, Bob Dylan stopped Manilow at a party, hugged him and said, "Don't stop what you're doing, man. We're all inspired by you."
As well as producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, Manilow has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials. From February 2005 to December 30, 2009, he was the headliner at the Las Vegas Hilton, performing hundreds of shows before ending relationship with the hotel. From March 2010, he has headlined at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. He has sold more than 80 million records worldwide

Barry Manilow Lyrics

Where there was just one there'll be two
And you won't be alone again
I'm home again
Over and over, now
We'll make up for nights that we missed
And kiss like we once kissed again
Close your eyes, I'll close mine
Remember how much we once had
And babe I'm so glad
To be home again
Love you, I love you, now
There's no one but you in my life
And I won't let you go again
See I'm home again
Close your eyes, I'll close mine
Remember how much we once had
And babe I'm so glad
To be home again
Love you, I love you
Oh more than anything else in my life
And I won't let you go again
I'm home again I'm home again
I'm home again Yes I'm home
The song "Home Again" by Barry Manilow talks about the return of a significant other and the happiness that comes with it. The lyrics state that where there was once only one person, now there are two. This means that the singer's partner has returned, and they are no longer alone. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "I'm home again," which emphasizes the joy that the singer feels about having their loved one back.
The song also talks about how the two will make up for the nights they missed and kiss like they once did. The lyrics suggest that some time may have passed since the two were last together, but the love they once shared is still strong. The singer reminds their partner to remember how much they once had and expresses their happiness to be reunited with them.
Overall, "Home Again" is a joyful song about reuniting with a loved one and being grateful for their return. The lyrics are relatable to anyone who has experienced the joy of being reunited with a loved one after a prolonged absence.
