Never forget this track, Just arrived in London, first night before starting college, and never been away from home before, scared stiff. Went in a little pub on corner of Oxford St to get directions, and this was playing. Hard to believe it was 52 years ago, and it still sounds superb to this day .

Been living in Brazil for the past 12 years. Love it here but can never forget my past. Always loved this song and Barry was from Leeds, next to my city of birth, Bradford and a city I know well.

I never got to meet you Barry but I carried you in my heart from when I first was told that you were my half brother. I met our father on my 30th birthday. He passed away also a few years after meeting him. Your other half sister just passed away this year also.

This is by far the best song of the sixties. With the backing orchestration, it was far ahead of it's time in 1968. I was 14 years old when it was released, and I still have the original 'Seven Single' record in my collection.

I was a summer exchange student, staying in Mexico City in 1969 with a nice family. The family went on Sunday drives and this song seemed to be on the car radio every time. I associate this song with my first time away from my own family from California.

This tune never got any air play in the US back in those days & even today I've yet to hear it on any radio station. Even Sirius doesn't play it.

I remember listening to this awesome tune on Mexican radio stations back in the early 70's since I lived so close to the international border here in Southern California.

Wow, it still sounds as great today as it did back then. This song reminds me of a very pretty little girl that was named Eloise.

She moved away after grade school, so I never saw her again after that. This song brings back such great memories of those carefree innocent times.

I was a child in the 70s when I heard this song for the very first time, and I fell in love with its dramatic nature. Last weekend I was at the theater when watching “Last Night in Soho”, when this song came up (spoiler, one of the main characters of the movie is named Eloise) RIP Barry.
