So it was ‘99. I graduated in 2000** but thought it was ‘97.
First things first. I consider us genXers. Never heard people called millennials til later. I feel like it changes at times go on. To kids, everyone over 30 is a boomer.

I don’t know about you but man was it fun in 99, and I’m not one of these “90s were the best” kids but I was a teen and those years are special to most , especially 17, which is weird cuz that was in 1999 one of my favorite years especially music wise, Dmx, lil Wayne, Eminem, limp biscuit, are 98-99. Then you had Korn, godsmack, Incubus and smashmouth. The 9/9/99 VMAs, Mtv was basically on all day in my house, TRL, dairy, made, Carson daily(then eventually G4 and mtv all day)
It was the year of Many popular cartoons and things that are still around, South Park(98)?, Family Guy, spongebob and a few more I think. We had Napster.

Also I know how you feel buddy. I lost my jobs, went back to school (online) and failed cuz math Best friends and close family gone since then. The rest moved away and now it pretty lonesome here in boston and have no idea what I’m doing either. I’m trying to make 40 a fresh start, and the quarantine ending is a good point cuz I don’t really have to explain why I got not job.
Man I wish I listened to the advice in this song as well as others…just not the crackheads.

**weeeeelllllll TBH I quit middle school cuz it sucked and was going to be 16 in 8th grade. But I got a job right away and went back to “school” got my G.E.D. And graduated…………….”IN THE YEAR 2000” and got a second job, a better job, UPS.

I was looking for sunscreen but somehow I happened to click here. This made my day, honestly! Social media had made me compared myself to too many influencers and had left me feeling insecurities, low self-esteem, and depression. I don't who I am anymore until this video. I like me, I love myself, and I know I don't need to change myself to please others. I am beautiful, kind and humble. Young and free! I should do what I feel is truly ME! I dont need no Kylie lip injections, bella hadid extended cat eye, kim kardashian fake butt and curves, etc, etc. I should eat healthy, workout and stay healthy. Listen to it when you're not feeling so great.

I've recommended it to a few people and they didn't get it the first time.

The advice in there is good. Just hard to remember at times.
