Agape
BearĀ“s Den Lyrics

Agape
Please don't dissipate
I know that I have got it all wrong
I'm reaching out
To touch your voice
But baby, I'm clutching at straws
Even though
Your words hurt the most

I still wanna hear them, every day
You say let it go
But I can't let it go
I won't leave, every word that you say

For I'm so scared of losing you
And I don't know what I can do about it
About it
So tell me how long, love, before you go
And leave me here on my own
I know that I don't wanna know
Who I am without you

Oh agape
Please don't dissipate
Yeah I know I've got it all wrong
I'm reaching out
To touch your voice
But baby I'm clutching at straws

For I'm so scared of losing you
And I don't know what I can do about it
About it
So tell me how long, love, before you go
And leave me here on my own
I know that, I don't wanna know
Who I am without you

I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know

For I'm so scared of losing you
And I don't know what I can do about it
About it
So tell me how long, love, before you go
And leave me here on my own
I know that
I know that
Tell me how long, love, before you go
And leave me here on my own
I know that

I don't wanna know who I am without you
I don't wanna know who I am without you

Overall Meaning

In Bear's Den's song "Agape," the singer is reaching out to their partner, begging them not to leave. Even though their partner's words have hurt them, the singer still wants to hear their voice every day. @christopher snedeker Ā The simple Gospel of Jesus is where I put my faith. Its simply the highest form of selfless love. I know I've made decisions and mistakes contrary to the nature of God and I fully believe Jesus paid the price I otherwise would have to pay for many actions.

There's a lot in the Bible to dig into, that explaines the faith and the blood covenant God made with man through himself to the deepest level, and I know it can seem overwhelming, but at the simplest level the core message of the Bible is that

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
And
If youĀ declare with your mouth, ā€œJesus is Lord,ā€ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

God loves you friend:) there's also nothing wrong with praying and asking God to help you believe and understand, I did so many times when I was searching and all the details of the faith came together to make perfect sense to help me believe stronger and fully see the truth of the gospel

Never heard this song or band until today.
This song just kicked the living shit out of me and my emotions.

It hits like a friggin' truck.

A similar (more popular) song is The Funeral by Band of Horses.

I highly recommend the Music documentary ā€˜Austin To Bostonā€™. Theyā€™re one of the bands that are in it. The Staves, Ben Lovett, Ben Howard, Nathaniel Rateliff, Gill Landry and others are in it too šŸ˜Š

Imagine having this type of love and losing it. It's been over two years. I still mourn today and he is still living. Just living a life without me.@@EagleScoutmano Thankful with prayer the pain is finally easing.

Absolutely beautiful song. Every time I hear it I have to play on a loop 5 or 6 times. Stellar track.

It's amazing how music finds you and not the other way around.
I woke up to this song randomly playing on a creepypasta of all things last night.
It was about 4am and I woke up feeling so happy inside.
It's sad that I found them this late in life. But, on the other hand, this is exactly when I needed to find them.
Bears Den and Winter Aid both!
Instant fan
