She was everything to me
But how I ever let her go
I'll never know
She was everything to me oh yeah
She was everything to me
But how I ever let her go
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me this way
hey, hey, hey baby
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me this way
hey, hey, hey
She was everything to me, oh yeah
She was everything to me
But how I ever let he go
I'll never know
She was everything to me
The sun, the earth the moon my baby
Still how i ever ever let her go
I'll never know
But she wouldn't do what I wanted her
She wouldn't do it for me
a-no-no
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me this way
Hey, hey, hey o-no-no
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go baby don't go
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me this way
Hey, hey hey-don't go o o o o o
The Beatnik Termites' song "Don't Go" is a classic example of a love song in which the singer expresses his deep regrets of letting go of the love of his life. The song is not only a lament of lost love but also a plea to the loved one to come back to him. The lyrics convey the performer's sense of longing and desperation as he begs his partner to stay with him. He admits that he doesn't know why he ever let her go but emphasizes that he needs her to come back to him.
The lyrics of the song reveal that the woman in question was "everything" to the singer. She was like the sun, the earth, and the moon to him, and therefore, her departure from his life has left an enormous void that he is struggling to fill. Despite his efforts to win her back, she wouldn't do what he wanted her to do for him, leading to their separation.
The chorus of the song repeatedly emphasizes the plea for her not to leave him, and his desperation is palpable in the tone of his voice. Overall, the song is a powerful expression of the pain of lost love, regret, and the desire to rekindle the flames of a past relationship.

@stephugo647 you do realize punk is short for punk rock right? Therefore "classic punk" and "classic punk rock" are the same thing
